
Benefits Program Manager - Leave & Absence Programs Remote
Job description
What you will do:
- Be responsible for leave and time off programs, globally (excluding the U.S.)
- Maintain and evolve leave and time off programs consistent with Red Hat’s overall rewards philosophy and HR strategy through collaboration and consultation with People team colleagues and business leadership
- Support escalated queries from associates, managers, and other People team peers
- Analyze market data, statutory requirements, and benchmark of leave and time off programs to provide insightful competitive and impact analysis in order to make program design recommendations and enable implementations
- Work with the relevant platform and technical administration teams to ensure all leave and time off programs are configured and tested in the absence tracking system (Workday)
- Remain up to date on local and regional legislative changes, educate key stakeholders on changes, and recommend program changes accordingly
- Partner internally to develop and maintain leave and time off program documentation
- Partner with the Payroll team to ensure the appropriate pay structures and any requirements for supporting documentation are implemented and applied
- Manage communication and enablement for associates and managers on program changes
- Support merger and acquisition (M&A) efforts, like due diligence, integration, and post-integration
- Experience in international benefits, with specific experience in leave and time off program management across multiple countries or regions
- Experience monitoring and adapting to changes in international employment law
- Proven record of aligning leave and time off programs with business strategy or objectives in a progressive environment, while designing and delivering new programs for emerging markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with empathy and clarity; outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal direction and collaboratively across multiple teams and roles, and be effective at influencing across virtual and cross-group teams
- Ability to forge close relationships, influence decisions, and gain trust as an advisor; solid customer focus

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, economics, or a related field is a plus
- Experience in designing, implementing, managing, and delivering leave and time off programs at scale for a growing organization, across multiple geographies is a plus
