Job description
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS.
Candidates will be required to have a minimum of 5 years experience of bench joinery within the workshop environment; be fully qualified in bench joinery and carpentry, with a City in Guilds or N.V.Q. equivalent. A full Driving licence also being a requirement.
Candidates need good communication skills and be able to perform tasks as instructed, in order to integrate within the workshop procedures effectively.
Candidates will need to be able to work independently, or as part of a team working closely with company employee's within our joinery workshop.
DUTIES.
Be able to work from plans or cutting lists, and commence and complete joinery tasks unaided if necessary. They will also be required to be familiar with the various woodworking machinery available, and be competent in the use and setting up of machines, such as Morticers, Tenoners, Spindle Moulders and Surface and Thickness Planners.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.00-£21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bristol, BS6 5LT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Joinery: 5 years (preferred)
- Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
