Job description

This is a unique opportunity to join our rapidly growing team. We are looking for a Cabinet Maker who is an experienced pro in our industry and can work independently with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity to help create innovative new products, and the right candidate will have a minimum 10 years of experience at a cabinet makers, excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction drawings,
• Measure, mark, and cut solid wood, veneered and laminate boards,
• Build and install cabinets, shelving, doors etc,
• Sanding, hand finishing,
• Apply decorative mouldings.
• Use of power tools.
• Use hand tools.
• Use machinery including, Edge bander, spindle moulder, table saw, thicknesser,
• Spray painting/laqcuer
• Work in a team with a variety of small and larger projects.
• Some site installation work will be required,
• Discussions with architects and designers
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Assisting with general day to day work shop duties, sourcing materials etc
