Behaviour Support Assistant - The Hill Primary Academy
The Hill Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team to help students to overcome barriers to learning so that they can achieve their full potential.
Our ideal candidate will aid pupils to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and independently by:
- Working with individual pupils, identifying the current barriers to learning, adjusting learning activities and monitoring progress towards set targets.
- Providing bespoke provision for those with challenging behaviour.
- Establishing a positive, professional relationship with pupils, colleagues and families.
We are looking for individuals who have:
- Recent and relevant experience working in a primary setting, and of working with children with challenging behaviour.
- The ability to utilise strategies to support pupils in achieving learning goals.
- The drive to learn and develop to adapt and improve how things are done.
- A commitment to safeguarding and equal opportunities.
- Relevant qualifications and training for this SEN focused role.
