Clinical Responsibilities Promote health and safety maintaining best practice in health, safety and security. Share ideas with colleagues to improve care and suggest areas for innovation. Participate in audit activities being undertaken. Contribute to the improvement of service by reflecting on own practice and supporting that of others ie student nurses and trainee nursing associates Adhere to legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines both local and national regularly attend workplace and staff engagement meetings and contribute positively to discussions about the improvement of care.
Contribute to quality of care through Evidence Based Practice by participating in audits and research. The post holder will work under the direction of a registered nurse for the following duties to: Maintain safety, privacy and dignity of all young people in the delivery of patient centred care, recognising and respecting differences including spiritual and cultural beliefs Support the delivery of Physical Healthcare Participate in the undertaking of physical health assessments Contribute to effective risk management and care planning to ensure young peoples physical healthcare and wellbeing needs are met Engage in the ongoing development of SFEDS Ensure that clinical practice is evidence based and consistent with relevant NICE guidelines and Trust policies and procedures Undertake mandatory and other surveillance programmes that promote best practice.
