RLJ Education is a new centre propelling students towards their dreams in the hair and beauty industry. Offering a wide and varied range of beauty, hair and aesthetic courses taught by highly experienced professionals, we prepare our learners for a very successful career.

We are looking for a Beauty Educator that holds experience teaching and is looking to expand their skills in a new environment. This is a part time role for short courses (Further work may be offered as more courses are added, this is optional extra work).
You will be required to teach all beauty treatments, in particular, LVL Lashes, Brow Lamination and Massage.
For this role you will be responsible for mentoring your group of learners (2-8 in a class) You will be expected to prepare a lesson plan and ensure that the learning is fun and creative.
The training days may be filmed for social media purposes.
You must be active on social media with your current work and will be expected to show update and show students work throughout their course.
Responsibilities and Duties:
To be able to assist with delivery of education and training provision to students
Provision of education and training may be delivered either on a one to one basis, or to groups of students
Are able to commit to providing the students with consistency through the delivery of the provision and are able to commit to at least once a month.
Qualifications and Certifications required:
- Up to date Prevent and Safeguarding certification (or willingness to obtain/update)
- UK recognised Teaching Qualification (Level 3 standard)
Desirable/preferred Qualifications and Experience
- A formal qualification in Beauty Level 2 & 3
- Previous salon experience
- Evidence of skill to deliver in that subject area
Personal Characteristics:
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills
- Confidently use PowerPoint & deliver a presentation
- The ability to present a professional and positive image of our Training
- Accurate data entry skills
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Self-motivated and committed to own personal development
- Excellent communication, written and numerical skills
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, ability to work under pressure and to deadlines including dealing with difficult and stressful situations
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation
