The Base Management team are responsible for the strategic transformation of our base management capabilities, as well as executing on base management activity for tactical trading initiatives.Our Customer base makes up circa 85% of the entire value within the MTP. The decisions that the base management team make will fundamentally influence the overall success of the SMB segment.
The primary role of this function is to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth by effectively managing customer accounts and subscriptions.
- Deliver analysis and insights to shape the commercial strategy for critical product segments.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders spanning Marketing, Data, and Trading.
- Assist in defining the foundational management strategy that guides the actions of the Trading teams.
- Execute all proactive customer interactions, collaborating with marketing teams to strategise and execute campaigns while monitoring their performance (with offers determined by the Trading function).
- Develop and experiment with strategies aimed at reducing customer churn and enhancing customer lifetime value.
- Possess essential teamwork skills for effective collaboration with other departments and teams.
- Compile and generate the Base Management Reporting package.
- Contribute to KPI reporting to evaluate the success of initiatives.
- Collaborate with Propositions to identify opportunities for portfolio advancement and work alongside Trading to outline the scope of long-term base management.
- Proficient Data Analysis and Reporting: Demonstrated ability in robust data analysis to interpret customer data, spot trends, and derive actionable insights. This includes examining customer metrics, engagement rates, churn patterns, and other pertinent data for informed decision-making and reporting on customer performance.
- Competency in Managing Complex Customer Bases: Adept at managing intricate customer bases with a grasp of the factors influencing churn and customer value.
- Strong Data and Analysis Skills: Possesses advanced data and analysis skills, with a high level of proficiency in tools like Excel.
- Understanding of Business Financial Performance: Capable of comprehending the financial performance of the business and connecting operational achievements to financial outcomes, such as those reflected in a Profit and Loss statement (P&L).
