On board Ocean Mist Leith we are looking for a confident, positive person to join our bar team. We are a family run, luxury boat hotel at The Shore with 17 cabins and a beautiful bar serving some incredible cocktails and local beers and spirits.
Salary is £10.50-£11.50 p/h depending on experience
Tips are paid monthly directly to our team members

Job purpose is to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Duties and responsibilities include:
▪ Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
▪ Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar
▪ Follows set-up procedures
▪ Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
▪ Greets guests politely
▪ Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to guests
▪ Ensures member accounts are properly billed through the Point of Sale System (POS)
▪ Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
▪ Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment
▪ Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times
▪ Maintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand
▪ Cleans and locks up the bar area according to prescribed procedures
▪ Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures
Working hours:
Monday-Friday
Must be available to work weekends on rotation
Typical shift is 3pm-11.30pm
Who we are looking for:
Someone with 5* customer service who is confident interacting with customers and always striving to go the extra mile. Hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. You will be willing to learn, hold a can-do attitude and have an eye for detail. You should feel comfortable understanding and resolving concerns from guests, and be confident working with payments and money.
