Job description
Lagarde American Eatery in Chamblee is looking to hire a new bartender specifically for Friday pm, Saturday pm, and Sunday am/pm shifts. This is a fast paced, high energy establishment and we are looking for someone with bartending experience to join our team. Basic drink knowledge is a big plus and someone with experience in making craft cocktails would also be great. Wine knowledge isn't necessary but is certainly helpful as well!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink orders for customers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink mixing techniques
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Please note that previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $75.00 per hour
