Who are you –
We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and a range of different beers, ciders, spirits and wines. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.
Ideal Candidate –
Our ideal candidate should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. They should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. They should have previous experience of working on a fast paced environment and at least 1 year bartending experience. Previous cocktail experience also required.
Key Responsibilities -
- Greet guests in a friendly and upbeat manner
- This will be a multi-skilled role, that will be predominantly on the bar, supporting with serving guests, on the floor and the bar
- Setting up and breaking down the bar and supporting the floor
- Ensuring the bar is fully stocked at all time
- Show your creative skills with cocktail making
- Assisting with stock systems ordering and auditing
- Communicating specials and 86’d items
- Payment handling
- To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with statutory and/or Group Health and Safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations.
- Bar preparation for pre and post shift
- Maintaining a clean uniform
- Cleaning of all bar spaces including all areas that the guests will travel
- Menu input for specials and new cocktail lists
- To participate, constructively, in performance reviews with the Manager and to work towards objectives/goals set by the Manager, and to improve any areas of performance felt necessary by the Manager, in order to maintain an excellent level of service to customer

Business Opening Hours-
Mon-Wed - 11am-11pm
Thurs-Sun- 11am-12am
Shift Patterns-
Usually 8 hours between 10am and 1am. e.g. 10-6/4-cl
Availability -
2/3 shifts per week, Mid-week/Weekends
