Bank House Hathersage is the latest addition to the hospitality scene in the Peak District and South West Sheffield. Formerly a historic bank, now an award-winning contemporary restaurant and cocktail bar. We offer a friendly social dining and bar experience which is inspired by the Mediterranean but proudly local. Due to our continuing growth, we require an additional Cocktail Bartender / Bar Manager. This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting fast-moving fresh food business. We have a close friendly team all committed to making Bank House a true success.
As a Cocktail Bartender you will be responsible for:
- Developing signature drinks and cocktail menu development.
- Preparing drinks and training junior bar team members.
- Ensuring all business operating procedures are adhered to.
- Yield management and drinks cover optimisation.
- Wastage management and reduction.
- Maintaining clear communication with the bar and kitchen team.
- Stock ordering and management
- Operating the till system, processing credit card payments and handling cash
- Delivering the very best customer experience, every time.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have a passion for good food and drink.
- Be smartly presented and confident.
- Show commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Perform well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment.
- Work well in a team, be able to prioritise and use their own initiative.
- Offer flexibility with shifts including bank holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Have experience of hospitality management (Supervisor position)
