Bank House Hathersage is the latest addition to the hospitality scene in the Peak District and South West Sheffield. Formerly a historic bank, now an award-winning contemporary restaurant and cocktail bar. We offer a friendly social dining and bar experience which is inspired by the Mediterranean but proudly local. Due to our continuing growth, we require an additional Cocktail Bartender / Bar Manager. This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting fast-moving fresh food business. We have a close friendly team all committed to making Bank House a true success.

As a Cocktail Bartender you will be responsible for:

  • Developing signature drinks and cocktail menu development.
  • Preparing drinks and training junior bar team members.
  • Ensuring all business operating procedures are adhered to.
  • Yield management and drinks cover optimisation.
  • Wastage management and reduction.
  • Maintaining clear communication with the bar and kitchen team.
  • Stock ordering and management
  • Operating the till system, processing credit card payments and handling cash
  • Delivering the very best customer experience, every time.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have a passion for good food and drink.
  • Be smartly presented and confident.
  • Show commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Perform well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Work well in a team, be able to prioritise and use their own initiative.
  • Offer flexibility with shifts including bank holidays, evenings and weekends.
  • Have experience of hospitality management (Supervisor position)
