Barista – South West Norse
- Salary: £22,880.00 pro rata, equating to £11.00 per hour
- Location: The Café at Lucombe House, Exeter, EX2 4PS
- Hours per week: 25
- Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 09.00 -14.00
South West Norse is established in delivering catering, cleaning, and facilities management services to a portfolio of clients in the local region in partnership with Devon County Council, combining local knowledge with service delivery expertise.
We currently have an excellent new opportunity for a Barista to join our team at The Café at Lucombe House, Exeter on a permanent, part time basis.
The Role:
As a Barista you will use your passion and energy to craft the perfect blend of coffee to consumers. With our customers at the heart of our operations, you will be expected to demonstrate menu, recipe, and general product knowledge on top of an excellent service to deliver a fantastic overall experience.
Working closely within our well-equipped team you will also be required to maintain high standards of cleanliness as well complying with Norse Group management policies and procedures, ensuring all relevant legislation and codes of practice are adhered to achieve the required standards of performance.
Other responsibilities include:
- Operating our cash tills and handling debit/credit transactions appropriately.
- Partaking in audit schedules in-line with relevant SLA in place. Driving change to meet company/client objectives and best practice.
- Checking and authorising stock indents, stock returns, overtime claims and timesheets as directed by the Area Manager.
