Job description

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders and serve beverages to customers
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes or customer preferences
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Collaborate with other bar staff to ensure efficient service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic knowledge of various beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling cash register operations
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and practices
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively

Please note that this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the needs of the establishment.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: From £10.00 per hour
