Plentea. A Tea Bar where deliciously crafted tea drinks are served in our inspirational space!

We are bringing a brand new tea drinking concept to Montreal and we are looking for fun and driven people to join our tea tender family. You will learn and experience our unique tea bar approach to blending teas and making our specialty lattes!

This isn’t your grandma’s cup of tea! At Plentea, we believe that creating unique tea blends is an art form and an experience for the senses. We meticulously select all of our ingredients before making it to your cup, so that each blend is as bold, delicious and fragrant as possible.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for 5 years of experience Lead Baristas (Tea Tenders) with capability to work in a team and handle cafe back-end operations

  • Manage and oversee the entire tea bar operation
  • Assist with retail order fulfillment (You will get commission based on your retail sales)
  • Deliver superior guest services and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Assist in planning and developing guest loyalty programs
  • Assist in planning new menu items
  • Participate at local food events
  • Respond to customer questions and complaints within Plentea culture codes
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Manage and lead a staff of tea tenders

-Welcome and greet everyone with a smile that says "we have the perfect tea for your mood"

- Opening /Closing and working with a staff of Tea-Tenders

-Create and serve our delicious specialty tea drinks -Inspire an environment of positive energy and maintain a clean enjoyable space

-Understand and explain the benefits of our various teas to our patrons to help them make a great choice every time

-Engage and educate our customers about and make them feel amazing when they leave Plentea

-Describe and recommend menu items to Guests

-Cashier duties

-Day to Day café responsibilities

-Keep a positive team spirit and be the best you can be!

The Ideal candidate:

-Has a passion for creating and blending tea.

-Enjoys working in a team

-Works well in a fast-paced environment

- Pays attention to detail

-Prioritizes customer service and quality.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma/Certificate and Food Handlers Certification is an asset

Salary: From $15.50 per hour
