Job description
Lost Aviator Coffee Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Baristas to help start up and oversee the day-to-day operations of a new location of our established café/roastery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the café runs smoothly, providing excellent customer service, helping less experienced Baristas and assisting the manager where appropriate, full time and part time positions available.
Responsibilities:
● Maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
● Ensuring excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, managing orders, and maintaining quality of beverages.
● training, and supervising staff to ensure they are properly trained, motivated, and performing to their best ability.
● Managing and ordering supplies; (Milks, Beans, Dry Goods, Disposables, ect)
● Developing and implementing strategies to attract new customers and retain current ones.
● Liaison with other cafes to develop new and exciting seasonal menu items.
● Ensuring that the cafe meets all health and safety standards.
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong problem solving skills and the ability to ask for help when needed.
● Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
● Knowledge of coffee industry trends.
● Familiarity with point of sale software.
● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
