Calling all Barista’s!
We are looking for experienced baristas to join the Edison’s team. A family run business with homemade cakes and bakes as well as great coffee! Located just at the end of the high street, Edison’s has gone down a treat with locals and visitors to Southampton. Coffee shop by day, by night, Edison’s transforms into an elegant wine bar staging regular live music.
So, what are we looking for?
If you are an eager team player who can work collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the store and deliver great coffee, we would love to speak to you. We find it imperative to have excellent communication skills and provide our customers with memorable experiences that leave them coming back for more. As a barista you will work a variety of shifts which could be either morning or afternoon extending into evening (including weekends). Our commitment to quality doesn’t end with coffee. We serve a handpicked selection of wines from around the world as well as a variety of cocktails, beers and spirits.
Daily tasks and responsibilities include:
· Be comfortable to deliver excellent service under pressure during peak hours.
· Till operations/cash handling.
· Restocking shelves and fridges, accepting stock deliveries, and reporting low stock so that it may be ordered.
· Ability to do latte art.
