Job description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of artisanal coffee beverages, following recipes and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
• Utilize espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with skill and precision.
• Offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere to customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee selections and answer customer inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including routine cleaning of equipment and workspace.
• Uphold and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge and passion for coffee, including understanding different brewing methods, coffee origins, and flavor profiles.
• Proficiency in espresso extraction and latte art techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality coffee.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
