WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently hiring a Tea'rista / Team Associate at our Castlemore location in Markham. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team! We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks!
Having experience working with customer service, fast paced environment, food and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation and various other duties required in a cafe.
STORE LOCATION: 9850 Markham Rd, Markham ON L6E0H7
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Provide exceptional customer service for all patrons;
- Prepare drinks, teas, and toppings;
- Routine cleaning, dish washing, maintenance;
- Operate the Point of Sale and safely handle cash;
- Communicate and work effectively in a team environment;
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform various cafe duties as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process cash, debit and credit card payments
- Drink preparation
- Routine cleaning & maintenance
- Various cafe duties
- Possible lifting of up to 25 kg
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Food handler and First Aid certification considered an asset but not required
OPERATING HOURS AND REQUIRED AVAILABILITY:
- The ideal full-time candidates should be available a minimum of 30-40 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- The ideal part-time candidates should be available a minimum of 20 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:30am. Closing shifts can be ending at 1am.
