Job description
We have a new opening for our coffee, bubble tea and ice cream company on the Clifton suspension bridge either on our tuk tuk or in our kiosk. We have are a friendly team and what we ask is that every customer is treated with the best customer service! Hours are generally 10 til 4, 5 or 6 depending on the day of the week and season. Flexible work but we do require weekends. We have a long stint of work as we have an events company too and need cover particularly from the 7th through the 17th of august.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing food items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Familiarity with food preparation and food service procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
