Job description

Main Objective:

To work behind the cafe serving customers and using the barista coffee machine to make various beverages to the highest standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• To serve customers with a smile and in a polite and respectful manner
• To use the tills and computer software competently
• To handle money via cash and card purchases
• To safely use the barista coffee machine
• To be able to maintain and restock the relevant stock when necessary
• To carry out daily cafe cleaning duties
• To work in the kitchen when needed and carry out any pot washing
• You must be able to work within a small team, carry out duties and maintain a high level of performance whilst adhering to all the regulations and health and hygiene rules that go hand in hand with a clean and safe environment.
• Within this role you will be required to help assist a busy kitchen whilst preparing and cooking food from our Cafe style menu.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8- 16 per week

Salary: £4.81-£10.42 per hour
