Job description
We are looking for experienced baristas to join our team at Another Heart to Feed West Didsbury.
We pride ourselves on great quality food and coffee, served in a casual small café/bar on Burton Road. The ideal candidate will be an experienced barista who is already confident in their coffee skills. Ideally, you would be happy to jump on the floor to help out when it's needed. As we are a speciality coffee shop, we are looking for someone who feels comfortable with producing high standard hot drinks on our La Marzocco espresso machine, during both quiet and busy periods. There is also plenty of room to move up within the company for those looking to further their hospitality career, as well as opportunities to get trained up in other areas.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is sociable and has a positive attitude, someone who is a team player and willing to be flexible and hard working. Ultimately, we feel that everyone’s job is easier when the team pulls together - we are all working towards the same thing after all. Ideally, you will have at least a year's barista experience in a similar environment.
THE JOB
- Starting wage of £10.42/hour
- Daytime shifts, no finishes later than 5pm
- 7-8 hour shifts
- 35-40 hours a week (4-5 days depending on preference)
- Share of tips/service charge
