WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Hijingo is disrupting the way we think about bingo and hospitality in general so we're looking for the weird and the wonderful of you our there to join us on this journey!
• There may be an I in bingo but there's no room for that in our team. Be ready and willing to get stuck in as part of our crew. Teamwork makes the dream work and that’s especially true for Hijingo!
• At Hijingo there are lights, cameras and action all around so we need people with lots of energy to match and tons of personality to boot!
• Hijingo is a high-volume and fast-paced venue so every aspect of your life as a barback will be super-charged so being physically fit will help a lot. You don't need to be a gym bunny but you do have to be comfortable with a fair bit of lifting.
• We offer a wide range of drinks at Hijingo and although you're not a bartender (yet!) a base familiarity with different types of alcohol would be beneficial.
• Barbacks get asked to do a lot and are in frequent communication with most members of staff. We understand that English isn't everyone's first language but a strong grasp of spoken English is necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Things at Hijingo move quickly and it'll be your job to ensure that bar is fully prepared to handle this before and throughout service.
• We like to involve our barbacks in every step of the drinks making process which also means you get the chance to prepare some cocktails! Hopefully this will aid you in becoming a bartender with us if you so desire.
• We run a clean ship at Hijingo so you'll be running around collecting empty glasses armed with blue roll in one hand and a spray bottle in the other. We also have guidelines around hygiene + cleanliness for you to follow.
