Who are you?

As a member of staff at the of Sir Robert Peel in Leicester, you will have at least 2 years of hospitality and or/ bar experience. You will have the ambition and drive to want to develop your career to the next level. You will have hospitality ingrained in you which will include a passion for food and drink, an impressive need for ensuring outstanding guest experience every time, extremely high standards, and the drive to succeed.

Your communication skills will be your key asset, and you will use this to your advantage to engage our guests and encourage repeat customers. You will be responsible for working with the manager and business owners to continuously develop to the best of ability. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop your own knowledge of how the hospitality industry operates to progress your career with us.

Your Responsibilities will include:

- Delivering excellent service to customers and creating positive relationships to ensure our core business continues to build.

- Welcoming guests to Sir Robert Peel, and ensuring their visit exceeds expectations.

- To always present a positive image by being polite, friendly, and helpful to all customers.

- Communicating effectively with the other members of management and the kitchen.

- Being Health and Safety compliant at all times, including licencing obligations and food hygiene procedures.

- Working as part of a team to portray our strong ‘family business’ values.

Unfortunately, this role is not suitable for those who do not reside in Leicester full-time. You must be available to work over the peak hospitality periods (e.g. Christmas, New Year, Easter, Match days and during the summer holiday period). Therefore, applications from students will not be accepted.

Schedule:

- As per business requirements. Part-time, permanent roles available.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 - 25 per week

Salary: £8.50-£11.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Leicester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Catering: 1 year (preferred)
  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Bartending: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
