The WonderBar is the ultimate Newcastle venue situated in the heart of the City Centre in the premier leisure destination – The Gate. With food and drink, interactive darts, dancing, and live sports, all under one roof, The WonderBar have lots to offer and events are a big part of the social calendar.
We are looking to recruit some full time Bar Staff to join our fantastic front of house team working a variety of shifts including weekends.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in providing excellent levels of customer service and a strong background of bar and catering operations.
The ideal candidate will be required to:
- Provide a warm welcome to guests, building rapport and generally taking care of their needs to create a memorable experience.
- Experience in Cocktail making is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Meet and exceed the already high standards of customer care when serving functions and events.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of the menu and confidently converse with customers.
- Ability to deal with customer issues calmly and in a professional timely manner.
- Support with other duties such as cash handling when required.
- Provide excellent customer service skills whilst paying attention to detail.
- Punctuality is essential.
- Be flexible for day and night shifts.
We are closed on Christmas Day however, staff must be available to work over the entire festive period including New Years Eve and New Years Day
