Event/Bar staff required for Plymouth Street Food Festival

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable event staff to join our team at our event, Plymouth Street Food Festival taking place Weekend 28th April-2nd May 2023.

We work in a fast paced and energetic atmosphere, serving great drinks to our customers for them to enjoy alongside some delicious food served by over 30 street food traders. We're searching for local and hardworking staff, to work both behind the bar and to help with the day-to-day running of the event, alongside our friendly team.

Customer service and bar experience is preferred but not essential as bar training will be provided.

The ideal candidate would be:

  • Punctual
  • Hard working
  • Work well under pressure
  • Work well alone and in a team

Main duties will include (but not exclusive to):

  • Making and serving drinks
  • Ensuring the bar is well stocked
  • Working as a team with other bartenders
  • Welcoming and interacting with customers
  • Managing table reservations
  • Scanning Tickets
  • Assisting with the general upkeep of the event
  • Set up and packdown of the event

Trading hours:

  • The event times are 11:00 - 23:00
  • Thursday 28th April - 2nd May 2023
  • Working a minimum of 8 hours shift

Salary:

  • £10.50per hour
