Old Thorns Hotel & Resort have an exciting opportunity for Bar staff to join our Bar’s team. If you are looking for a new and exciting role, in a fast-paced and lively environment with a strong desire to be a key contributor within a friendly team then look no further!
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and can work well within our existing Bar team to ensure the smooth running of our bars and provide our customers with the best experience possible. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail when serving and be passionate and knowledgeable about food and drink. If you are trained in mixology / cocktails then our Atrium Champagne & Cocktail bar is waiting for you!! If you have a passion for learning there are plenty of opportunities to develop your mixology skills.
We also have senior bar positions available, please enquire if you have relevant experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests visiting the resort serving a range of high-quality drinks including premium draught beer, spirts, wines, cocktails and hot beverages.
- Being passionate about customer service and ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times whilst serving out guests.
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures whilst on duty to ensure a clean and safe working area for both colleagues and guests.
- To be enthusiastic whilst at work and to have pride in all drinks and food you are serving.
- Assist with restocking bar
- Communicate with the kitchen staff regarding food service
- Working alongside your team in a fast-paced environment
Our expectations of you:
- Smart personal presentation and polite and friendly manner
- Passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer care
- Previous experience in hospitality is desired but not essential.
