Bar Staff

We are looking for fresh faced individuals, with a good working attitude to join our amazing team and venue

Position Summary:
The Bar Staff position is responsible for the overall appearance of the bar, including but not limited to the cleanliness of the counter, floor, and walls, as well as stocking all necessary items for the bar. This position will also assist in opening and closing duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of alcohol safety protocols as well as an ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently.

Essential Functions:

• Cleaning countertops, walls, floors, glassware, equipment and equipment stations
• stocking all necessary items in the store
• opening and closing duties as needed
• maintaining a clean work environment in the store
• maintaining inventory control in the store
• assisting with guest service including greeting them with enthusiasm and offering samples of food or drinks or other fun activities while following proper service procedures when serving guests
• completing other tasks assigned by management or front of house staff as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests or employees

Skills:

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the needs of the company.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions regarding serving drinks and cross contamination, cleaning procedures, etc.
• Ability to work in all times of the year and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide brilliant customer service
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £8.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 24 per week
