Job Role – Bartenders
Full Time or Part Time - Permanent & Zero Hours Contract
Salary: £12.00 an hour - Various Hours Available - Start ASAP

Huxley Club - Part of the LLO Group – we have opened a restaurant and cocktail bar and are looking for the right people to join our Team based in the heart of Fitzrovia, London.
The Role:
- Table service and waiting skills are a must to a high end
- Wine pairing and wine recomendations may be required
- Uncorking wine and champagne at tables may be a requirement
- To provide an adequate level of drinks service in an efficient, polite & friendly manner.
- To follow correct monetary procedures and be responsible for all monies & deficits on any till to which they are logged on.
- To provide a friendly & welcoming atmosphere
- General cleanliness & upkeep of the Bars.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and be aware of any issues relating to the Health and wellbeing of staff and the general public.
- To work as a flexible and willing team member, assist the Bars Department whenever required and be able to maintain a working knowledge of all aspects of the operation.
- Take a pro-active approach to the business and be prepared to take on any additional responsibility as required.
- Immediately report to your line manager any problems within the building and keep them informed of any remedial action being taken.
- Keep Bars Supervisors informed of any stock that need replacing – cleaning materials, beers, liquor, disposables etc.
- Ensure that you know your allocated shifts for the week. In the event that you are unable to work adequate notice must be given.
- Ensure jackets and bags are kept in the bars office, these are not permitted behind the bar or in the cellars.
- Sign in and go to your allocated bar.
- Report to the Bar Supervisor and help them set up the bar. Set up optics appropriately for the relevant night.
- Ice prepared for the night ahead
- Check that the juices are not off (by smell or taste) and replace, recording is necessary.
- Put bin liners in the bins.
- Stock up the fridges if necessary rotating stock, following the fridge plans provided.
- Ensure that the bar top is clean.
During event shift – To provide an adequate level of drinks service in an efficient, polite & friendly manner.
- Try to serve customers in the order that they came to the bar.
- To follow correct monetary procedures ensuring that the correct change is given.
- Record all wastage, mispours, refusals, complementary drinks etc. on the sheets provided.
- Perform duties in good relation to the licensing laws. Identification checks on potential underage drinkers which should be communicated amongst colleagues
- Refusal of drunken customers
- Service of alcohol using accurate pouring methods and correct measurement
- Any other such requirements as required by law
- Ensure that the bar is kept to an adequate level of cleanliness throughout the night (clean as you go). Empty bins when full and reline.
- Let the Bars Supervisors know of any stock shortages throughout the night and help restock where applicable.
- Report any customer complaints to the Bars Supervisors, giving them a description of the problem.
End of Shift – Ensure that bar space and venue floor are clear of rubbish and glasses. * Ensure rubbish throughout the building is placed in the appropriate outside bins spilt in to glass / cardboard and general waste.
- Ensure all stock is returned to the cellars / lockable cupboards.
- Ensure the fridges are refilled correctly for the next shift.
- Assist the supervisor in performing End Of Day stock counts.
- Wait until you are told your shift had ended by the appropriate line manager
