Job description
We are seeking to hire bar staff for our busy restaurant. This position requires individuals who enjoy interacting with a diverse clientele, working in a fast-paced environment and serving great food in a professional manner. Bar Staff is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for advancement as well as an excellent wage, full-benefits package and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for all products.
- Help bartenders.
- Maintain sanitary conditions of bar area, including cleaning and disposal of trash.
- Recognise when to call a poison control centre.
- Know how to operate a cash register.
- Follow all laws related to serving alcohol.
- Communicate with other employees and supervisors.
- Accept drink tickets and make change.
- Demonstrate proper bar etiquette.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Pay: £9.80-£10.00 per hour
