Job description
Restaurant and Bars Team members at our venue enjoy a varied and very active role in providing our guests with positive memorable and unique experiences. As part of our team you will be welcoming and hosting our guests across our Bars, Restaurants and including our event spaces.
- Bars & Restaurant capacity for up to 100 covers plus external spaces during summer months
- Conference & Banqueting for up to 200
- Excellent pay for the right person
- Customer service skills essential
- Must be experienced with working in a busy restaurant/bar
- Ensure that our guests have a positive experience
- Inspect work areas for cleanliness
- Preparing and monitor the Restaurant & Bar areas for service and guest comfort
- Providing a warm welcome to guests, advising them of menu options and answering questions about products & services where necessary
- Record all transactions in the till system at time of order
- Provide food and beverage service, including alcohol and non-vegetarian items
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Manage stock rotation and stock presentation
- Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors
- Participate in training when required
The role is permanent and involves working both midweek and weekends with shifts on a rota and covering mornings, afternoons and evenings, as such flexibility is required along with previous experience.

Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour
