Job description
Experimental Cocktail Club Chinatown is the first London venue from Experimental Group (Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, Henrietta Hotel, Cowley Manor, and STEREO). Established in 2011 in the heart of Chinatown, the Experimental Cocktail Club is a two-floors speakeasy bar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Opening of the Bar & Cleanliness
- Organise and manage the production of juices, syrups, etc for a smooth operation of the bar.
- Ensure adequate stock is available for the Barbacks and Bartenders, prior to their shift (fruits, herbs, garnishes, spirits, syrups, glassware, tools, etc.).
- Ensure a steady supply of perfectly cleaned and dried glassware is at the bartender’s disposal prior to their shift.
- Ensure the bar, back bar and the glassware storage areas are clean and tidy prior to the shift (including the crushed ice machine, juice machine and rubbish area).
- Pay attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations during the day. Apply all Food and Beverage and Safety Regulations.

- Strong experience in a similar role or as a bartender within a cocktail bar.
- Have excellent spirits & classic cocktails knowledge.
- Attention to details.
- Social, engaging and motivated.
- Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
