About the Hotel ReceptionTeam Member role:
The Stanneylands Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Hotel Reception Team Member to join the Front of House team. As a Hotel Reception Team Member you will be the first face to greet our guests and give them a great impression of our amazing Hotel. Dealing with our guests on a daily basis and supporting the Management team, you’ll be an expert in communication and know how to work well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet guests and visitors to the Hotel
- Manage face to face, on line and telephone bookings
- Check all reservations and room allocations
- Handle guest queries and requirements
- Check guests in and out of the Hotel
- Prepare restaurant reservations
- Maintain occupancy levels on the computer system
- Manage the computer system including room rates and changes
- Deal with customer requirements, complaints and service issues
- Handle cash and card payments
- Ensure a safe environment in which to work; report any hazard or maintenance defects immediately
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance
