Bank Therapy Assistant (Palliative Care)

- £22,819 – £24,383 per annum pro rata
- Hours as required on a casual working basis
In this role you will assist the Specialist Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist with assessment and treatment to provide an excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centric holistic care for patients with complex life-limiting illnesses.
You will support patients to maintain their therapeutic treatment plans; install and demonstrate equipment prescribed by the registered practitioners; observe and report changes in patients’ presentations or symptoms; and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure patients receive the best possible holistic care.
The role involves providing hospice-based palliative treatment on our inpatient unit in Exeter, and travel across the Crediton and Okehampton, and Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Woodbury areas to care for patients in the community.
