Bank Healthcare Assistant - Pre-Assessment
Our Pre-assessment department currently have an opportunity for a HCA to join our Leeds hospital . Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.
The Role
As our HCA you will:
Assist the nurses assessing patient prior to elective surgery
Perform phlebotomy
General administration work
A good telephone manner.
Computer and database skills.
Ideally, you will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
The Person
GCSE –Maths and English (or equivalent)
Successful completion of the Care Certificate (or equivalent)
Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) level 2 award in Healthcare
Previous HCA experience.
Phlebotomy experience - preferred but not essential.
NVQ3 qualified or above.
Can work as part of a team.

Salary - Dependent on experience (pro rata)
