We are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised and hardworking Band 7 Occupational Health Nurse who will be working within our Regional Occupational Health team at Venning Barracks in Donnington.

Job description
The successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of a peripatetic occupational health service within an area of responsibility. The post holder will provide specialist, person-centred care which considers safety, privacy and dignity using advanced clinical knowledge.
This role is offered at 37.5 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly will be considered but must fit with the business need.
Person specification
As the successful candidate your duties include but are not limited to:
The post holder will be accountable and responsible for providing proactive, evidence based occupational health (OH) service.
Delivering OH care for the Defence service population, liaising with the chain of command (CoC), single services (sS) and other specialist Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) pillars.
Supporting change, monitoring and improving clinical standards through supervision, evidence based practice, clinical audit, research, and education thus maximising OH outputs and optimising Service Personnel’s (SP) employability / deployability.
Working in support of Commander (Comd) Defence Healthcare Recovery Group (DHRG) to manage OH services in support of the population at risk within DPHC.
Identify knowledge and skill gaps and seek clinical supervision and / or advice as appropriate to enhance learning and development.
Developing and teaching OH staff, encouraging teamwork, and create an environment in which clinical practice is fostered, evaluated, and disseminated

Selection process details
