This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join the Endpoint Infrastructure team with very recent experience in this type of role.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable team management experience with the ability to effectively prioritise and execute both own and team tasks in a busy environment. You will be working as the liaison point between 2ndand 3rdline teams and technically you will have vast experience of Microsoft operating systems, software and server environments, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware. You should also have experience of DHCP/DNS, TCPIP. Knowledge of Ivanti EPM, Application Control, Environment Manager, McAfee ePO and as well as having Microsoft certification is desirable.
You should have excellent communication skills and be customer focused.

The Senior IT Support Officer will be a very hands-on, senior member of the Endpoint Infrastructure team responsible for configuration of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and application support, including Windows operating systems and software.
Using effective communication, technical and analytical skills, manages projects, provides technical support including maintenance and upgrading of resources, assigns engineers to resolve operational issues, and, within delegated authority, supervises support personnel. In keeping with the Trusts values and competencies, develops and maintains positive working relationships with all contacts internal and external to the Trust.
Duties will include working towards meeting Service Level Agreements, repairing hardware faults, resolving software issues, implementing and testing new systems, creating documentation for new and existing procedures/systems, ensuring IM&T security standards are met and support the day to day IT requirements of the Trust.
Enforcing & monitor adherence to Trusts IM&T policies. Review guidance, implement policies and standards set by CFH ensuring that specialist or complex IM&T information is processed in accordance with policies and procedures
Organise/attend meetings, be a technical lead.
Identify & provide Basic IT training to Hospital staff in use of Trusts computer systems and software, Ensure problem trends in Service Desk calls are identified & dealt with as quickly as possible.
