An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 to join our Community Mental Health Team.
The successful applicant will work closely with the band 6 OT, Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Community Mental Health Nurses and admiral Nurses as well as have the opportunity to liaise with in-patient units, CERTS (community enablement and recovery team, OPIP (older peoples intervention Programme), Care Home Liaison (CHL) and Social Services. The CMHT’s also liaise with primary care specifically GP’s, and the third sector as appropriate.
The Occupational Therapist will be required to undertake comprehensive OT assessments using a number of standardised tools and models, including MOHO (model of human Occupation). The OT will apply formulation skills in setting appropriate recovery focussed interventions and work alongside the service user in achieving these goals by application of appropriate interventions.
