Pulse is now recruiting for a new role in an innovative NHS trust based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The practice requires a Band 3 Community Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. Candidates applying will be have previous Occupational Therapy experience and be available to work full time hours for an initial period of 3-months.
This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to work closely with uni/multi-disciplinary teams/agencies in addressing a range of care/support issues across the spectrum of conditions, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and improving the health and wellbeing of the population served.
Duties within the role will include:
- Help clients to follow a treatment plan that has been developed with the occupational therapist, to help with everyday activities
- Maintain client records by recording progress
- Keep track of supplies and stock
- Provide any required support to the occupational therapists
To be considered for this role you must have previous occupational therapy assistant experience and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
