What does the role look like?
As the Supply Chain Focal for the Banbury site, you will be working to improve how Actuation Systems Supply Chain (SC) UK supports and meets the needs of the CTG site, whilst aligning with the SC commodity teams and the needs of the wider business.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
Be the primary SC member for CTG Banbury, supporting all OE SC issues and objectives.
Support NPI and Transfer projects involving CTG parts and suppliers.
Represent SC at daily Tier reviews and other appropriate meetings involving supply and demand.
Own and manage Supply issues (E2-E4) providing clear, accurate and timely communication to all stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and support supplier strategies and projects to improve quality, cost and delivery performance.
Lead and be involved in Continuous Improvement (CORE) activities involving supply and demand.
Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and to deliver resolution to complex supplier issues and drive systemic lessons learned
Work in a matrix organisation and use effective influencing skills to ensure materials are delivered to plan.
Present at an executive level regularly both issue status and improvement activities.
Use leading KPI metrics to identify and then drive improvement activities.
Be accountable for facilitating the resolution of problems with internal and external stakeholders.
Visit suppliers for senior account reviews.
Support the Materials and SIOP team in providing insight into the monthly SIOP cycle, through providing a medium-long term supply strategy.
Support the demand validation and approval process, signing off on behalf of Supply Chain.

Essential skills:
Experience of managing complex relationships with suppliers.
Strong leadership skills
Enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships with both internal and external customers
Desirable skills:
Had experience of leading a team, directly or indirectly
Experience working with an Operations focused environment, either in the Production Control or Operations Management.
Experience of working with SAP / MRP
Continuous Improvement (CORE) problem solving background
CIPS accreditation and/or a Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or Engineering
