Job description
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our small, hard-working team, on a temporary basis. The work will mainly involve taking lids off tins and applying labels so they are ready to be filled by our packing team.
The bakery is open from 6am until 6pm Monday to Friday and also between 6am and 2pm on Saturdays. We are happy to adjust the contracted hours within these times to be flexible to suit your schedule.
Shortbread House is a family-run bakery in the heart of Edinburgh. We supply a range of luxury shortbread to the online, retail and catering markets in the UK and abroad. Shortbread House emphasises quality over quantity, the company has won more Great Taste Awards than any other Scottish shortbread bakery.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can concentrate and work quickly and efficiently on repetitive jobs
- Will focus on high standards and ensure the product is always of the quality we expect
