As part of our business growth strategy, Wyerton Ltd T/A Baked in Tettenhall have a requirement for a Bakery Shop Manager to assist in managing the bakery shop team and merchandising for our busy Real Bread bakery in the heart of the black country.

This is a development role with scope for personal & professional growth as our business continues to expand over the next 12-18 months . Initially, you will assist in managing a team of experienced shop assistant running a busy bakery shop that is open Monday – Saturday selling a range of artisan bread, cakes, pastries & savouries as well as liaise with the management team to improve efficiencies, increase sales, and develop our customer experience strategy.

Managing a team of approx. 5 you will have a proven track record in delivering excellent results in a fast-paced retail environment balancing the needs of the team & your retail & wholesale customers. Your verbal, written & numerical skills will be excellent & you will have a clear vision of excellent customer service & how to grow sales.

You will also work closely with the Management team to develop & deliver on a range of KPI’s that assist in increasing the bakery’s sales, reducing waste & developing our point-of-sale range of additional goods as well as working closely with our bakery team to develop our grab & go range of products.

What would my main responsibilities be?

Coach, mentor & motivate your team to achieve amazing results & delegate tasks successfully

Prepare & serve our well-loved BAKED products including sorting delivery orders for wholesale & retail customers

Ensure you & your team always provide a fantastic customer service experience

Look to drive profitability & meet BAKED targets

Doing whatever is necessary to ensure the smooth running of the bakery shop. This includes maintaining our rigorous cleaning & hygiene standards.

Assisting in the recruitment of future team members with support from the management team

Ensure that our bakery looks presentable & vibrant for customers at all times

Be happy, friendly, smile and most importantly have fun!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £19,938.13-£38,837.05 per year
