Job description
Lewis Pies in Swansea is looking for a Bakery Production Operative to join the team.
Hours of work will be within Sunday – Thursday – 8am – 4:30pm.
Job Purpose:
You will have the opportunity to work in a range of roles and will be trained in multiple disciplines. This vacancy is in the bakery section of the business where you will be working with bread and cakes.
Production operators are required to safely perform work to strict quality standards, to work on their own or as part of a team and to carry out duties that are delegated from supervisors/managers in an efficient, safe and timely manner. Staff, from time to time, may be moved to different departments according to the needs of the business. Individual roles within the facility will come with specific training.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Promotion of a CAYG attitude
- Being audit ready at all times
- Being aware of the importance of Health and Safety in the work place
- Manual handling may be required
- May include correct completion of paperwork
- Be actively involved in the company CI Philosophy
These duties are not exhaustive and the Company reserves the right to require you to perform any duties or training of others which will assist the efficiency of the department and the needs of the business. You will be required to complete Health & Hygiene paperwork as part of your induction.
