Overview of role
Key Accountabilities
- Engage in the Safety-First culture and comply with internal policies and procedures
- Safely operate bakery plant equipment
- Complete paperwork and perform standard checks in order to guarantee quality
- To deliver product to required standards
- To contribute to the delivery of a production plan
- Ensure that their own, development and training needs are identified
- To actively participate and contribute in the sharing of “Best Practice” within manufacturing
The Right Person
- Demonstrate a high level of Health and Food Safety awareness
- Undertanding of the baking process in a manufacturing setting
- A good level of maths and english literacy skills
- Information recording skills
- An in-depth understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (CIEH Level 2) IOSH or equivalent
- Ability to demonstrate basic engineering competencies/mechanical empathy
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques
- Computer Literate
