Job description
We are currently seeking a driven, self-motivated individual to join our team at the bakery. The ideal candidate for this position has at least one year of experience in baking in a commercial kitchen or some relevant industry experience, and is prepared to work within a fast-growinf start-up kitchen team . A successful candidate will be able to balance the sometimes conflicting demands of customer service, quality production and workflow, as well as follow all legal and regulatory health and safety requirements.
Key Requirements
Level 2 food Safety and Hygiene certificate (essential)
Experience with from-scratch cake baking and decorating in a commercial kitchen
Ability to commute to work and occassional weekend availablity
Responsibilities:
- Promote brand awareness.
- Maintain strictest level of confidentiality with regards to signature reccipes
- Deliver excellent customer service to create brand loyalty.
- Provide information to customers in a polite, friendly and consistent manner.
- Looking professional and well-presented.
- Understanding the importance of food safety and managing to strict hygiene standards.
- Working well under pressure and without constant supervision.
- Knowing all about the products we sell and being ready to explain them to customers.
- Being a great communicator – talking with customers and taking time to understand what they need.
- Being sincere and positive at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
