We are looking for a Baking Assistant to join our team! A successful candidate will be able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner. They are responsible for ensuring all work areas are clean and orderly and for meeting all production and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up the kitchen after morning shift.
- Prepare ingredients for cake, cookie, brownie or other baked goods
- Follow recipes exactly to get product within specified time and quality
- Store food products in the appropriate containers or boxes (food storage areas) according to specifications
- Deliver food products to customers or to cook areas if necessary
- Check stock shelves, place ingredients on shelves or operate kitchen utensils such as mixers, blenders etc. to ensure inventory is present and at least one item must be at the ready at all times.
- Maintain product displays in kitchen area by cleaning out crumbs, removing trash etc. and putting away items as needed
- Ensure all food products are stored properly according to specifications
- Perform other tasks as assigned (e.g. baking assistant, stock cookie sheets etc.)
Experience is not required but experience in a related industry preferred. Davies of mumbles provides paid training for all new employees.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 20-33 per week
Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
