Job description
Duties:
- Prepare, produce, and bake bread, rolls, pastries and other desserts as per the set menu.
- Set time and speed controls for mixing and blending machines, so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to set instructions.
- Measure or weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, whipped cream etc., using scales or graduated containers.
- Prepare garnishes and decorate the baked goods.
- Maintain an adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensure proper storage and refrigeration.
- Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilising proper quantities and rotating products.
- Cleans, breaks down and puts away all baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, proofers, floors, freezers, and refrigerators.

Salary: £26,500.00 per year
