The Role
You will join our Engineering team to build new features that shape our product. You will receive individual mentorship and guidance as you write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. You will collaborate with Senior Engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components and be part of a culture that values continuous improvement.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring new ideas to our process and be part of a team that continuously looks for opportunities to improve the performance, scalability, and security of our product. As we work towards our ambitious goals, you will have the chance to participate in planning and decision-making and to develop your skills and knowledge through challenging projects and ongoing professional development.
Our Tech Stack
At Odin, we build and host our products using modern and reliable technologies that our team knows and trusts. Our tech stack includes Golang on the backend and React.js and Typescript on the frontend, all deployed over AWS.
Leveling
The salary band for this L2 role is £50,000 - £60,000 + equity options. During our process, we'll take your experience and capabilities into consideration and use our internal leveling (L1-6), to assess your salary at Odin.
Your Experience
Must have
- You have experience working as a software engineer, or you’re working as an engineer ready to take a step up to mid-level
- You’re comfortable working with Go
- You love to write high-quality code, and you're passionate about software and technology
Nice to have
- You're an active member of a tech community (GitHub or similar), or you have your website where you work on projects to spearhead your growth and development

We are a London-based team that values face-to-face interactions to achieve our mission and bring out the best in each other. However, we recognise that there are talented engineers outside of the M25, so we will also consider remote applicants within a two-hour time difference from the UK.
