Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and test RESTful APIs and web applications using Python and Flask/FastAPI frameworks.
• Implement, maintain, and optimise relational databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop efficient software solutions.
• Write automated tests to ensure quality assurance and maintain code integrity.
• Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues in the backend code.
• Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in backend software development
• Strong knowledge of Python and Flask
• Knowledge of FastAPI is nice to have
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and web applications
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like pytest, unit test, and Selenium
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Good understanding of version control systems like Git
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
