Job description
- Day Rate: £550/day (Outside IR35)
- Duration: 6 months (Significant opportunity for extension)
- Location: Hybrid with 2 days on site working in Hampshire
This is fantastic opportunity for an ACTIVELY SC CLEARED Back End Developers working at the forefront of digital technology. The Back End Developer will work in a cutting edge public-sector project, seeking to build a major internal application and service for military personnel.
Required Experience / Skills:
- Experience building Digital Services / Software Applications
- Experience designing micro-services and building solutions in an agile DevOps environment
- Core Tech Stack: .Net Core, .Net Framework, Spring Boot 2.0, Umbraco CMS, JPA, JDBC, Junit, Test Driven Development, REST, GraphQL, SQL/Postgres, and NoSQL(Hbase)
- Experience with web technologies including: AJAX, Web Sockets, HTML 5 and MVC
- Software Design skills including UML and Domain Driven Design
- DevOps skills including Git, Azure (CI/CD), Maven, Gradel, Linux, Docker and / or Docker Swarm
- Additional experience of benefit includes: Azure AKS, Kubernetes, Xamerin, Mono, and Atlassian Suite (Jira /Confluence/Bit Bucket)
- Excellent consulting / stakeholder engagement skills
- Appreciation for agile working methods and GDS standards
- Willingness to be part of the work-shopping / requirement gathering / definition side of the engagement
- Appreciation for full stack development a strong advantage
- ACTIVE SC level security clearance
- IR35 Status: Outside
- Rate offered: £550 per day
- Commencing: ASAP
- Duration: 6 Months (Initially)
- Location: Hampshire (2 days per week onsite)
