The Los Angeles Athletic Club is seeking a Part Time Babysitter candidate. The Club is seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about working with infants, toddlers and school aged kids in a group setting. Instructor is responsible for providing leadership during the babysitting and camp activities while interacting positively with the children.Due to business needs, candidate must be able to work:Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pmSaturday & Sunday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pmKEY RESULTS & TASKSEngage children with safe, fun, age-appropriate, development activities such as: games, puzzles etc.Captivate and motivate groups of young children through enjoyable activities.Neatly keep babysitting room organized.Monitor children’s activities during their time in babysitting area; never leave children unattended.Perform Program Responsibilities Accurately and TimelyEDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSRequired: At least eighteen (18) years of ageRequired: Must have technical knowledge and skills required to teach and engage young children in fitness and wellness activities.Required: CPR / First Aid Certification. Lifeguard and Swim Instructor certification is a plus.Required: Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback in a positive and productive manner.Required: Reliable and punctual attendance; arriving at work on time, prepared to work.Required: Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervisionRequired: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Required: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
